Only two more weeks!

Only two more weeks until Spring Break!

What are your plans? Where are you going to go?

Well, if the answer to the questions is, "I don't know." then I have something for you. Actually, even if you have plans you can use this, too.

My hope as a teacher is that you would study English on your own, and enjoy doing so. So, in an attempt to encourage you all to study during Spring Break, I have make a short list of resources that you can use to enjoy studying English.

So without further ado, here's your list of English resources to get you through break.

1. YouTube: CGP Grey

This channel provides, among other things, a series of explanatory videos on a range of subjects, including politics, geography, economics, and British culture.  All of the video that CGP Grey makes have subtitles.

2. Scary Stories

If you are a fan of scary stories, then I have a website that is perfect for you. Although the stories vary widely, all are designed to scare the reader. I recommend clicking on the "Top" tab to see those stories that have proven to be most popular.

3. TED.com

TED.com is all about new ideas. The motto is "ideas worth spreading" and all their videos show this. Along with being able to learn about new ideas and movements, many of the videos have both English and Japanese subtitles.
